Yes, you may include repair costs required in order to close as Selling Expenses.
However, you should make an attempt to document the expenses in case the IRS has questions. In most cases you need a copy of the receipts. But a statement from the contractor or service that provided the work may also be acceptable. As a last resort, ask the real estate agent who handled the sale for a statement on the value added to the home.
