You can't, and don't. Gifts are just that - gifts. You have nothing to deduct, report or claim, and the recipient of the gift has nothing to report.
However, if your gift was more than $14K to any one person in 2016, then you the giver will need to file a gift tax return. The TurboTax software does not do gift tax returns.
