My husband now receives a W2 for his video work, although the work is done here at the home office. Is there another way to report that income?

My husband works from the home office doing video production, but receives a W2 instead of "cash". Because of this his business income is minimal and the home office does not qualify. Is there some other way we should report that income in the business section and not the personal income section?
