You can claim the amount of interest you paid as Mortgage interest even if you did not receive a form 1098, just as if you had a 1098.
You enter it in the mortgage interest deduction section. If you already entered a 1098, click on Add a Lender on the Mortgage deduction Summary page (see attached screenshot).
