Can I deduct 2018 real estate tax that I prepaid in 2017 but did not deduct in 2017 (because I had not received an assessment or a bill)?
Seems to me I'm just out of luck, right? I couldn't deduct it in 2017 because it hadn't been assessed, and I can't deduct it in 2018 because I paid it the previous year.
