They are considered Charitable donations and would go under deductions.
To enter your tithes and offerings:
- Click on "Federal Taxes". (In Home & Business click on "Personal")
- Then select "Deductions and Credits" - "I'll Choose What I Work On".
- Scroll down to "Charitable Donations".
- Click Start/Update next to "Donations to Charity in 2015".
- Click "yes" when asked - Do you want to enter your donations for 2015?
- Then add the name of the church in the "Who did you donate to in 2015? box.
- Click "add" next to "MONEY"
- Then enter the timing and amount on the next screen.
