GIve them an EIN instead of your SSN. YOu can get an EIN in about 10 minutes online at https://www.irs.gov/businesses/small-businesses-self-employed/apply-for-an-employer-identification-n... if you qualify for an EIN. If your property is a rental, you easily qualify for an EIN.
The property management company is within their rights to request your EIN or SSN for tax purposes on their end. Until you provide one or the other, I would not expect them to pay you anything.
