Can I deduct mileage driven to help with the daily home care for my disabled mother?

My mother lives in another state and is cared for by a sibling.  However, I drive down for 2-4 weeks at a time to relieve her and take over the full time care of our mother.  Can the miles driven down and back be claimed on taxes?
