I'm trying to enter a date for the foreign residency exclusion but the website isn't taking my answer. I entered 08/15/2016 and 08/30/2017 as the 1 year period.

I'm trying to enter a date for the foreign residency exclusion but the website isn't taking my answer. I entered 08/15/2016 and 08/30/2017 as the 1 year period.
It's the qualifying 12 month period.
