When asked if I paid >50% of my living expenses, what qualifies as a living expense?

Car payments? Gas? Loan payments? Clothes? Everything I spent? Or just rent/utilities/food? I made 22k last year while living in my parent's home. The total mortgage was 1.6k a month, of which I only paid 200. So it's more like 30% of my share paid in that department. But I made car payments, paid for my own gas, insurances, clothing, maybe 30% of my food, all my clothing, my phone bills, gym memberships, that sort of thing. Just how much of my yearly expenses qualify as "living expenses"? Because if it's only rent, utilities, and food, then I definitely don't qualify as supporting myself. But if it's everything combined to sustain my current lifestyle, then I think I tip the scale in the other direction. Thanks for any help!
