Are contents like clothes, electronics, furniture able to be deducted when itemizing damage/loss from a flood? Do I add that to the FMV of the house? Or list separate?
Trying to understand how to claim the loss of not only my house that was flooded, but all of the contexts within it that were damaged and destroyed.
