I work M-Th as a Physician Assistant, but work on Fridays teaching violin. I drive to students' homes to teach them. Can I deduct the mileage for that?
Not sure if it matters, but I got a 1099-MISC from a school district this year for teaching violin (the students I teach are part of a homeschool program). For the violin lessons I made less than $800 in the whole year last year. Does the amount I made matter? I also read something about Quarterly Estimated Taxes?
