The reference to a halfway house would be after entering a W-2, and the next screen asks "Do any of these uncommon situations apply to this W-2?" Halfway house is one of the options.
To adjust your entry, return to that section of the program by going to > Federal > Wages & Income > click on Edit/Add next to W-2 and when you are on the W-2 screen, scroll to the bottom and continue until you see the question "Do any of these uncommon situations apply to this W-2?"
