Some lenders print the property tax info in an open area of the 1098, not in a box. Double-check your 1098. If there's nothing there, contact your lender.
If you just bought the home recently, it's possible that no property tax payments have yet been made, Property taxes are deductible when the tax is actually paid, not when the funds go into escrow.
