To enter the daycare expenses in TurboTax Online:
- Go to Federal Taxes, then Deductions and Credits
- Continue through the screens until you see "Check for tax breaks".
- Under "All tax breaks, scroll down to You and your Family.
- Then select the Start/Update button next to Child and Dependent Care Credit.
To enter the Daycare expenses in the TurboTax CD/Download version:
- Go to Federal Taxes (Personal Tab in Home and Business)
- Then Go to Deductions and Credits
- Next go to "I'll choose what I work on"
- Scroll down to "You and your family"
- Then select Start/Update next to Child and Dependent Care Credit.
