Join tax return, can I NOT claim my college kid (who w/more than $3500-2018 investment income) as dependent 2 get EIC? Her tax return did say someone CAN claim dependent.
We provide more than half of her support. It is a 2018 special question that I can claim her as dependent but must I claim it? There is no benefit in claiming it, and more benefits if not.
