To enter your self-employment expenses:
In the Self-Employed Turbo Tax with a Business tab at the top
- Go to the Business tab
- Click Continue > I'll choose what I work on
- Click Start next to Business Income and Expenses
- Proceed through the interview to enter your business information, income and expenses.
In the Self-Employed Turbo Tax with a Federal Taxes tab at the top
- Go to Federal Taxes > Wages & Income
- Scroll down to the Self-Employment section
- Click Start next to Income and Expenses
- Proceed through the interview to enter your income and expenses.
