i have a foreign bank account (value > 50000USD) so i do need to report it to IRS on 8938. I also have a foreign trading account (maintained by a foreign company linked to the bank account) in which i have some stocks of value 2000USD. Do i need to report this on 8938. If so under which category? Financial account or financial asset?
I also have another account for Gold margin trading. this account allows me to buy and sell gold at spot price for a margin. Do i report this account as well? Under which category?
