No,you do not need to enter anything on Form 1116 for foreign taxes on foreign dividends that you enter in 1099-DIV section of TurboTax. There is a place in the 1099-DIV entry form in TurboTax where you can enter both the dividend income and the foreign taxes.
With your return open:
- Click on Income & Expenses at the top of the page
- Scroll down and click on Interest and Dividends
- Click on Start or Revisit next to Dividends
- When you are inputting your 1099-DIV income, check the box that says "My form has info in more than just these boxes"
- Enter the foreign tax paid
