To enter sales tax paid on a vehicle, you will need to locate the Sales Tax section.
- Log in to your TurboTax Online account, or open your TurboTax CD/Download program
- Click Take me to my return
- Click on Federal
- Click on Deductions & Credits
- Choose Continue and, “I’ll choose what I work on.” if offered
- Scroll down to Estimates and Other Taxes Paid, click Show More, if offered
- Locate Sales Tax and click to Revisit/Start
- Choose EasyGuide on the next screen
- You will be guided through entering your sales tax paid on a vehicle
