To report interest from a seller-financed mortgage,
- In
your Federal Return,
choose the tab for Wages & Income
- Scroll
down to the topic Interest and Dividends (you may have to click Add more income and See more income to view this topic) and click Show more
- Choose the Start button next to the topic Interest from Seller-Financed Loans
