I want to know how much loan should i take in india so that i can claim tax in US. My current pay in US is $116, 000 per annum. How much tax exemption will i get for this amount? I am planning to do tax savings against home loan. In india if i get Rupees 12,00,000 i can only submit tax exemption for 2,00,000. And for 20,00,000 there is different slab. How does it work in US? How can i know what is the tax exemption amount against my salary?
