I have HSA.My spouse doesn't.My HDHP covers myself+children from prior marriage. My spouse has own health ins. Do I chk HDHP covered "self" or "family" if filing jointly?
In summary, I have an HDHP. I cover my natural children only. My spouse has her own health plan. It is not an HSA or HDHP plan. We file a joint return.
