Deductions & credits
I keep having this problem no matter how I try to fix it (even deleting forms and removing any W on line 12 of W2. I suspect now, after many hours wasted, that it really has to do with JUST the HSA part for the form 1099SA. I have my own separate HDHP that I carry on which my children and I are covered (husband has separate ins) but it does not have a HSA account with it. I really am not sure how to answer this and none of turbo taxes answers help. I finally am settling on answering NONE since I did not have an HSA even though I am not covered under my husbands plan BUT I am on his HSA. I then answer YES we all had coverage the whole year under the health insurance question. Turbo tax needs to correct this and be accurately clear, especially since one of the answers says there was an problem earlier on and gives you instructions for fixing it by deleting things and reentering. I went thorough all of that and I still got the same results, their other option to "fix" is clear/delete everything and start over- how well do you think that works? I will NOT be using turbo tax again.
