When you enter the 1099-INT following the directions given above by Karis_F, you will be able to enter your form without having to enter a tax ID for the bank.
- Go to Wages & Income
- Select Investments and Savings and Add Investments
- Select Enter a different way
- Select the 1099-INT and Type it in myself
- Enter payer's name and interest amount
