Hey BillM223, this was the best advice in attempt at resolving this issue. I did call the 1-800 help line and I shared my screen, and the guy was nice, but couldn't figure it out, and he told me to pay MAX to get expert help. This is not a tax issue, it's a software issue. I think your solution may work. I will give it a try and see what happens. I'm not going to delete everything, just W2 and HSA sections and walk through those pieces again to see if it allows me to enter my personal HSA contributions. Let's see! I'll get back to you.
