When I have 2x 1099DIV w/ foreign income, why does it flag the 2nd as "should not be larger than the dividends and capital gains reported on this Form 1099-DIV ($0.00)"?
It works fine when I enter only one 1099DIV. The problem occurs only after the 2nd (order does not matter) is imported. It looks as if Turbotax incorrectly assigns foreign income in the background.
I tried adding the foreign income right after import. That did not work. Also tried importing first, then going to Foreign Tax Credit and assigning the foreign income to each form there. No matter what I tried, the Review flags the foreign income on the second form and I can't proceed in a valid state.
