Thanks for your response. Regarding your last question, both of us did NOT have separate HSAs all year. My spouse was covered under my family coverage HDHP, with the HSA in my name. He did not have an HSA until he began his self-only coverage HDHP August 1.
I did the calculations manually using the IRS 8889 forms and instructions and came up with the same result as Turbotax.
