In your situation, yes, the portion of the commission that you paid the Broker should be deducted on Line 10, Schedule C, as a commission. Be aware that, if your Broker is an individual rather than a corporation, and the amount you paid him was $600 or more, you must file a 1099-MISC with the IRS (and a copy to him) to report the commission you paid him.
