I am in this situation, my ex husband and I filed jointly for the past two returns are now divorced but I am now the sole property owner of the property where our energy credit applies. While it was filed joint on 5695 forms it only has his name. Can I still claim it? He relinquished ownership and does not reside at the property, and I know for sure the IRS has this as requirement
