I see no one has responded to this, so here's some info that may or may not help. I don't know much about that topic, but I can tell you how to get to the Adoption Credit section of the interview. If adoption doesn't pertain to you, it may be that you answered a question wrong or started the adoption interview by mistake.
Use this shortcut to get to the adoption questions. If the adoption interview had been started previously by mistake, it should take you to an adoption summary screen where you can delete it (trash can icon.)
- With your return open, go to the left menu column and click on TAX TOOLS, then subtab TOOLS.
- In the Tools popup window choose the blue button TOPIC SEARCH.
- In the search line enter adoption benefits without quotes.
- In the selection list highlight adoption benefits and either double-click on that or click the GO button.
