I prefer to await the 2022 IRS & TurboTax software updates before amending to claim the Hurricane Ian disaster
casualty losses. Today is 4/11/2025. Yet, I certainly do not want to miss the 4/15/2026 deadline.
My question is how will we know when those updates are completed? Where can we check?
