We are selling our mass house in 2025. Before we can sell and move to our new house, we have to replace one septic system. After the septic is replaced, we can sell and then buy our new house also in Mass. we obtained the septic engineering proces in 2024 and replaced the septic system in 2025.
we will soon move into our new home.
my question is can we receive a mass state tax credit for replacing the septic system when we do our taxes next year even though we will no longer be living in the house with the replaced septic system
