My teen daughter worked a part time job over the summer and was a full time student with earned income of around 3K and dividend income of $879. We're claiming her as a dependent on our return. Is she required to file a tax return? If not, do we have to include her income on our return? My understanding is dependents with a gross income over $1300 must file, but I'm seeing conflicting info here. Thanks in advance.
