To resolve the form error for Form 7205, you need to edit your business expenses to eliminate the zero for Energy Efficient Commercial Buildings.
The easiest way to find any section of TurboTax Online is to open your return, go to Tax Tools in the left column >> Tools >> Topic Search. Type in "schedule c", click the topic in the list and then GO to go directly to the start of that section. In TurboTax Desktop, use the Search box or Show Topics.
- Edit/Review your business and follow the interview to the list of Business Expenses.
- Look for All Other Expenses at the bottom of the list (this may have a different name in your version of TurboTax).
- OR search the expenses list for "commercial."
- Open/edit that category and delete the zero in the box for "Energy Efficient Commercial Buildings."
