Deductions & credits

If you received a W-2, you can add the income in the W-2 section (not self-employed section if you received a W-2), in addition to the full time job's W-2.

 

Here is how to do this in TurboTax Online:

 

  • Click on Federal Taxes,  Wages & Income,  Job (W-2),  Add/Edit
  • On the next page select Add a W-2
  • Choose your or your spouse's name, if applicable
  • Then, fill out the information from the W-2

Or, on Desktop:

  • Click on Federal Taxes,  Wages & Income,  I'll choose what I want to work on, Wages and Salaries,  Update
  • Select Add a new W-2.
  • Enter the info from your second W-2 on the following screens.
