I'm not sure what the error message is. Can you give additional details.
As far as your tax return:
- Your 1040 line 1 should not include the income from the Statutory employee W-2.
- It correctly goes to Schedule 1 line3
- And is posted (Possibly with other income) to form 1040 lone 8
If this is how it is posted, I don't think you did anything wrong.
Do you have more than one businesses?
