I reported the mortgage interest that I paid on my primary residence, but it isn't showing up in my summary of deductions, nor is it listed in Schedule A. My standard deduction is larger than my itemized deductions, but I have chosen to use the itemized deductions because it is advantageous on my state taxes. When I force TurboTax to use the itemized deductions, it includes a real estate taxes and a local tax deduction, but it fails include the mortgage interest. Any ideas?
