Deductions & credits

In order to be considered an "Eligible Educational Institution" for the American Opportunity or Lifetime Learning Credit, the University must be eligible to participate in a student aid program run by the US Department of Education.  Please see Database of Postsecondary Institutions and Programs.

If the University meets the requirements, on the 1098-T screen, choose YES to the question "Does your school have a foreign address?"
