Hello,
I donated a car with a value of more than $5000 to a NFP.
The car was then sold and I received the 1098-C with the Gross Proceeds and the certification that it was sold in a arm's length transaction to an unrelated party.
I am using Turbotax Desktop and when asking how value was determined it does not offer "sale" on the dropdown menu. In fact, none of the options seem to be appropriate. I am wondering if I should use "Present Value"?
