No, you won't combine the information. You'll enter each daycare provider separately, then specify the amount you paid for each child at each daycare center.
- After you enter the information for the first daycare center, TurboTax displays Here are your care providers. Next, we'll get your expense info. To add the second daycare center, click the Add a care provider button. (Click the first screenshot below to enlarge it for reference.)
- Enter the information for the second daycare provider. Again, you'll end up on the Here are your care providers. Next, we'll get your expense info. screen. Click Continue.
- TurboTax displays Pick a dependent and a provider, and tell us how much you paid. Use the drop-down arrows to select a dependent and a care provider, then enter the amount you paid for that person. (Click the second screenshot below for reference.)
- Click + Add another expense. Enter additional information as needed, for example, enter the amount you paid at the second daycare center for the first child. Keep selecting +Add another expense for each dependent-day care center entry you require. (Click the third screenshot below for reference.)
- When finished, click Continue and follow the onscreen instructions to the conclusion of this section. TurboTax will calculate your Child and Dependent Care Credit.
