It depends. The medical expenses that are part of your itemized deductions so far are the long term care (LTC) premiums which you entered in the medical expense section and the medicare premiums that carried automatically from your SSA-1099 entry.
- Medicare B premiums: $6.708
- Medicare D premiums: 1,589
- LTC Premiums: 1,427 = Total medical with only these expenses = $9,724
TurboTax is allowing me to enter other expenses and it should also allow you to enter them as well. Do not enter the medicare premiums again just add any other medical expenses for your out of pocket expenses.
