That is a great answer. Follow on question, If I my spouse, who's entire foreign income is excluded, can we get a tax credit for the income taxes she paid in Canada? I entered this into the turbo tax system, but even after putting in the Foreign Taxes Paid, it did not give any credit for the foreign taxes paid. Thoughts?
