To remove information related to the Credit for the Elderly or the Disabled in Deluxe:
- Select FEDERAL TAXES
- Select Deductions & Credits
- On the How do you want to enter your deductions and credits? page, select I'll choose what I work on
- On the Your 2024 Deductions and Credits page, scroll down and select Start or Revisit next to Elderly or Disabled Credit, below Other Deductions and Credits
- On the Did you retire because of a disability? page, select No, then Continue. Don't worry, you're not perjuring yourself by making this statement. The IRS doesn't see this response -- your answer merely disqualifies you for the credit within the TurboTax program.
