Keep your Ugh. The calculation is already done. All they had to do was let it through. Instead, they put in a block that tries to take the teacher deduction and then some. Teaching is a job and tax preparation is a job. My sincere hope is this crappy decision by turbotax costs them all the money they would have collected from teachers. Teachers, don't buy their deluxe version! Turbotax, I for one am done with you.
