Update: Because I was not sure why it was being entered, I paid for the Turbotax support and contacted a CPA. After over an hour, with the help of other experts she conferenced in, they determined that because of Social Security exclusion in Colorado, the military pension could not be added (due to limits). Why Turbotax fails to put 0 in line 4 of the form, no one could figure out. But they concluded that it was entered properly and reflected in worksheets, but just not on the final form.
