Property tax input can be confusing.
- Property Tax is often reported with the Mortgage Interest on form 1098.
- However, it is presented on the summary under a separate tab labeled Property Tax.
- You cannot edit the amount you posted on the mortgage entry screen.
- If you wish to edit this, go back to the Mortgage 1098 and make the changes.
- If you have other Property tax payments (Other than on the 1098) You can enter them under the Property Tax heeding.
