Letter of assignment (contract) was more than 1 year. At 9 months I was moved to a different project and signed a new Letter on assignment. The first assignment was to be more than 1 year which caused the need for taxes to be pulled immediately. Since i was transferred before the first year came up, I want to know if i can claim for a refund of that 9 months of taxes from the per diem.
