Hello, thank you for the reply. All four are biologically ours, we are both on the birth certificates for all four, and all four have lived with us, together, for the entire year (since birth). When filing, she was able to list the dependents but then indicate that someone else (me) was claiming them. Once she did that, where it lists the dependents then, under My Info on TurboTax, it showed the two she was claiming as dependents and the two that she listed, but indicated someone else was claiming, as “non dependents” which is where that term came from.
Her returns have both now gone through and mine have both been rejected, and we’re not sure how to fix it — if she needs to amend or if there’s some way to fix it on my end.
