If you already submitted your return, you cannot undo it as long as it is in a pending status. The IRS will either accept or reject your e-file. If your return is rejected, you can add the info and re-submit your return. But if the return gets accepted, you will need to file an amendment (1040-X) next month. How to check your e-file status!
